Three Buns Burger & Heads at Potato Head Folk

Baby Huey and Fries, sauce on the side

This is actually my second time here (36 Keong Saik Road, 6327-1939). The first time I was here, there was so much sauce on my burger that I could hardly taste the ingredients. So today I came back and asked for the sauce on the side in the hopes that it might be better. It wasn't.

See, I'm a bit of a purist when it comes to burgers. If I'm going to eat a burger, I had better taste good beef inside (hence, my affinity for beauties like Shake Shack and Burger Joint). This place seems to rely more on the sauce than on the beef. In that sense, it reminded me of Triple O's.

That's too bad, since otherwise this could have been a pretty cool place, being located at the former location of Tong Ah, complete with a fun crowd, decor, and cocktail list. The fries seemed promising too, but in the end, I left unsatisfied. At least it's open late; I suppose it would taste better after a number of drinks.
