My local colleagues took me to this little soba shop for a quick lunch after a meeting in Tokyo today. I smelled an interesting curry soba on the way in that I nearly ordered, but I got distracted by this negi and daikon oroshi version instead, in part simply because it seemed so over-the-top. Indeed, it turned out to be pretty darned pungent...probably more than I would have liked. I probably should have gotten that grilled chicken set that I saw my colleagues ordering. Right now I'm still hungry and need to hunt down some more food.
