Margarita's Restaurant at Dempsey Hill

Beef Tacos

Here's an updated photo from Margarita's, although this time at their outlet at Singapore's Dempsey Hill (11 Dempsey Road #01-19, 6471-3228). I guess that I didn't mind the food as much as I thought I would, but it looks like they were still doing that pickled jalapeno thing, not to mention the sour cream drizzle that annoys me so much. And despite the high prices that they charge for food, they still don't take American Express.

Hey, great Blog! My wife and I spent a few days in Sing last year. A friend of mine's brother (Dan Durkin) runs a few restaurants you might want to check out if you haven't already. Cafe Iguana and the New Bridge Road Brewerkz. He also has a bar at the stadium, but I can't remember the name of it. He's a great guy, and will definitely show you a good time if you manage to catch him when he isn't too busy. Hey, did they finish the Clark Quay shopping area construction yet? Oh, and you can check out my blog at http://ohayo-gaijin.blogspot.com

I used to like Margarita's at Dempsey Hill - till they started upping their prices, charging for salsa & chips (which were previously gratis) & stopped serving tamales. And you're right - not wanting to accept Amex is ridiculous!
