A Traditional Japanese Breakfast

A Traditional Japanese Breakfast

Here's a basic Japanese breakfast courtesy of the hotel here, with the usual grilled fish, rice, pickles, miso soup, seaweed, and sides like veggies, some tofu stuff, and plum tea. I like Japanese breakfasts (especially when the fish has some tasty fat in it to go with the rice and pickles), but this place's fish was a bit dry, and the soup a bit of a bore. Well, at least it was free (and light enough that we will readily have enough room in our stomachs to check out more food in just a little while).
