Krispy Kreme

IMAGE_038

Ever sweet and rich (the dough seems to act as an airy sponge for all the grease it was cooked in), Krispy Kreme's glazed doughnuts rock. I am also a big fan of the chocolate ice custard filling. Try to go when the "hot doughnuts" neon sign is lit - it's a completely different experience when the doughnuts are fresh off the frying conveyor belt in the window.

there is no comparison...it's like heaven and earth! my brother tried asking them for franchising opportunities...u'd need US$1m for tht! and plus u'd hv to hv a good track record of f&b experience...wonder when it's gonna penetrate into asia. I think the reason why Dunkin Donuts wrapped up, was prob coz back then, there was not much of a donut culture here. But i think if it were to come back now it'll prob experience better business...
